Conservation Commission
Minutes of December 17, 2008
The conservation commission met 12-17-08 as a special meeting.
Members present: Don Stover-chair, Fred Huntress, Sue Ellis, Rich Haslip,
and John Laskey.
Dana Lee attended. Joe Cimino absent with notification
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the John Koris offer from Pike Industries.
It was the consensus of the members to allow Dana to discuss with John the possibility of matching town money for a combined number of necessary environmental funding issues.
Sue mentioned to Dana that the “Welcome to Poland” signs were looking a bit sad. Installed in 1995. Mirelle Houle was responsible for getting businesses to pay for the signs. Dana made a note of it.
